iVOLT WINS FIRST IMPACT AWARD IN AUSTRALIA

Wine Industry Suppliers Australia (WISA) presented the National Wine Industry IMPACT Awards at a ceremony attended by more than 400 VIP guests at the Adelaide Town Hall in South Australia on 19th October 2017.

Industry experts selected the winners from 15 finalists in categories including engineering, winemaking, packaging, distribution & logistics, marketing & communications, grape growing and tourism, along with a new start-up category recognising emerging ventures featuring outstanding products, processes or services.

SCE Energy Solutions/Alkoomi Wines won the Engineering category, which presented a joint case study of innovative and environmentally friendly Voltage Stabilising Systems to minimise energy costs while bringing new levels of power supply, security and reliability to the winery operations in Western Australia.

Matthew Moate, WISA Executive Officer said the national awards were highly regarded by peers in the wine and grape growing sectors with a 70% increase in entries this year. “The Australian grape and wine industry along the complete supply chain is at the leading edge of innovation with dynamic solutions and products that advance the sector and enhance consumer engagement with our wines and tourism experiences“, he said.

Matthew also commented that, “all entrants presented outstanding qualifications for the award with the judges having a challenging task to short list finalists and select the ultimate winners that are making such a positive impact in the industry“.

Leon Bignell, the Minister for Tourism & Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, offered his congratulations to the winners; “South Australia’s premium wine sets us apart internationally and it’s fantastic to recognise the supplies to this important sector“, he said. “The culture of excellence in viticulture & winemaking starts with great suppliers and it keeps us competitive on the world stage“.

Senator Anne Ruston, Assistant Federal Minister for the Agriculture and Water Resources said, “The Wine Industry IMPACT Awards acknowledge and celebrate the many groups along the value chain that are adding capability and competitiveness to our wine producers. The finalists are all outstanding. They are one of the reasons our industry is tracking so well with our wine exports forecast to exceed 800 million litres and $2.5 billion in 2017-2018“.

This is a fantastic achievement for iVolt in the ever growing demand for creative change in energy saving solutions.

iVolt to unveil ground breaking cloud-based energy monitor at Nemex

iVolt to unveil ground breaking cloud-based energy monitor at Nemex

iVolt will showcase the groundbreaking technology that The Daily Telegraph described as having “world class potential” at Nemex – part of the Sustainabilitylive! show – this April.

The award-winning British manufacturer has already won multiple awards for its Intelligent Real Time (IRT) Energy Monitor, which launched in 2011 and enables the precise measuring of energy savings that are directly attributable to voltage optimisation. Now it has unveiled an evolution of this in the form of a cloud-based system that customers can use from the comfort of their own desk, to access information about energy use at multiple sites.

The game-changing technology is set to ‘lift the lid’ on what is fast becoming a leading method of energy saving, and means businesses no longer have to guess what energy savings they are achieving. Developed by iVolt’s own software engineers, the technology offers real time energy management and engineering support wherever and whenever customers need it. It even enables them to adjust the voltage to individual sites, instantly, with the click of a mouse.

Based near Heathrow, the award-winning iVolt team will be on Nemex stand J10 at Birmingham NEC from April 16-18 to unveil the sophisticated new solution. iVolt’s managing director and founder Manhal Allos will also reveal details of its use across different industries when he hosts a seminar about the potential of voltage optimisation to reduce the carbon footprint and energy bills of up to 400,000 British businesses.

Part of the highly regarded global Sollatek group, iVolt is the only manufacturer in the voltage optimisation industry capable of proving, rather than predicting, savings. Its work with demanding clients such as supermarket chains, airports, railways, factories, hotels and schools has seen reductions in energy use and carbon emissions of up to 20% and because it uses a next-generation variable solution iVolt’s results are up to 30% greater than those achieved by other, fixed reduction systems. Working by lowering the incoming voltage to a building from an average 242V to 220V (+/- 1.5%) – the level at which electrical equipment works most efficiently – it not only saves money and carbon emissions by reducing power consumption, but by eliminating fluctuations in the power supply it protects equipment – improving its lifespan and reducing the need for maintenance and servicing.

As well as winning awards from environmental charities and the facilities management industry, iVolt has been added to the ESPO framework, part of a national scheme to enable public sector organisations and charities to procure its services quickly and easily.

To hear from Manhal Allos how iVolt is helping the public and private sector lead the way in becoming energy efficient, visit Energy Theatre 2, on Wednesday, April 17 from 1.50pm-2.05pm. To see the multi-award winning technology in use, join iVolt’s chief electrical engineer Richard Brown on stand J10 where he will carry out live demonstrations throughout the event.

iVolt’s new compact commercial range unveiled at Sustainability Live!

Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 1-3rd of April, iVolt will be showcase their latest range of Voltage Optimisation (VO) products and solutions.

This will include a new wall mountable 32A 3 phase unit which will lower the entry level for VO in small retailers/commercial buildings. A modular range that can be stacked or horizontally mounted with a substantially smaller footprint which is ideal for sites with limited space will also be shown for the first time.

The award-winning British manufacturer has already won multiple awards for its Intelligent Real Time (IRT) Energy Monitor, which launched in 2011 and enables the precise measuring of energy savings that are directly attributable to voltage optimisation. Now it has unveiled an evolution of this in the form of a secure cloud-based system that customers can use from the comfort of their own desk, to access information about energy use at multiple sites. iVolt will demonstrate this ground breaking software live on stand J10.

In partnership with Bowers Electricals, iVolt have developed the Intellivolt, a HV/VO solution which offers game changing technology. See this on Bowers Electricals’ stand J1.
